Yummy, melt-in-yo-mouth Brisket!
Stopped here for lunch, based on ratings, and I'm glad we did. Our server, Lilly, was so outgoing and kind- it would have been a great experience even if the food were average, but the food was excellent! We had BBQ kangaroo for an appetizer (eh, tastes a lot like goat), and brisket sandwiches. Thinking of past BBQ experiences at other restaurants, I ordered mine sliced. It was so, so tender!!! And the fried green tomatoes were good too. An excellent lunch & excellent staff!

Great Tap Selection
Great tap selection, very friendly staff, and reasonable prices. Oh how could I forget, the BBQ is pretty dang good too!

This place was awesome!!
Once again another city another barbecue place. This place was awesome!! We happen to break down in the area and had to have our vehicle towed to Gillette. So we decided to find a barbecue place to eat luckily we found this place. Melissa b was our server and she was awesome I couldn't have asked for a better server. Once again I am a person who likes the sides just as much as ribs so we decided to go with corn beans mashed potatoes and gravy also onion rings. she brought us cheddar biscuits and jalapeno something cornbread she just kept bringing the food we were so full I can barely walk out of there. The food was just amazing I'm looking forward to coming back there when I have to pick my vehicle up after it is repaired. Thanks again you made the visit great will definitely be back!

I've been in Gillette for 9 years...
I've been in Gillette 9 years and been to Pokeys dozens of times. I've never left disapointed. It's always great food (Tracy's Nachos), great drinks and great service all for a great price.

Good BBQ
Stopped in for a quick bite and were very satisfied with our meals. My wife had the sliced brisket sandwich with coleslaw and potato salad. I had the buffalo burger with french fried chips. Both were excellent, my was really pleased with the coleslaw. Excellent service and reasonable prices.

UM, Um, Um their Fried Green Tomatoes are amazing
Lots Pokey's. Great bar-b-que, but they are good on so many other choices. Especially their salad bar is good.

We Stopped by Pokey's on a Roadtrip to Yellowstone...
We stopped by Pokey's on a road trip to Yellowstone. Traveling from Boston, we didn't know any spots in the area, but a big billboard on the highway drew us in. We were not disappointed! Melissa took care of us and Samantha was the sweetest person we ever met. The beer selection was great and while we didn't eat, the menu looked amazing. If you find yourself driving through Wyoming, definitely hop off the highway 5 minutes out of your way to hit up this place.

Bring your appetite, because the food portions are generous!
This is a very good barbeque restaurant. It was our first time eating there,so we got the sampler platter for 2. Brisket, ribs, smoked sausage and smoked Turkey, and 2 side orders. Everything was tasty, but I was most impressed with the smoked turkey. It was very moist, unlike smoked turkey from other barbecue restaurants I have tried it at.
It's a casual place, and our waitress was Melissa B. She was very knowledgeable about the foods, and stopped by several times to see if we needed anything else. We will definitely eat here again.

Wonderful BBQ!
Wonderful BBQ! I also enjoyed the spicy corn nuggets. Our waitress, Melissa was a lot of fun. She had us laughing thru the whole meal. Great personality!
